Each ice sheet is an Idea, a Form whose white to cobalt blue surfaces are manipulated by the dynamic conversation of the multivalent Lake.
Temperature is the ontic Conversant Strategem.
Might mere human sense play the role of a God who would want to hear what the Lake dares to utter in its long, yet finite season of displacement?
Which phenomenal universe — this instant — cracks apart amidst such vast expanse? Who advances here, who lowers the boom mic, shifts its level to listen, and confronts the sound which will one day define for a planetary species its fearsome litany and dream?
