What difference does it make, if you are going to die?
Whose difference? : is ours to map this moment at which one is freed from begging the non-existent for lease to live?
One brilliant thief, just in time, breaking down the door of forever’s ‘perhaps’?
Or an entire species’ stoney ends- ‘just kidding!’ : a mute kid, with pistol blasting caps, target practicing at the divergent stoplight? : or the tin pan alley inquisitor? dropping the pennyweight stylus into the groove of the dizzy dirty instant? : else the stopgap sideman, from whose curly queue staves a string bass pulls against the dreadreel?
