on nietzsche’s ‘walking out’

Total solitude casts a gigantic shadow against the wall of inner self -




It is here the most inward of all observers appears to consciousness, as if naked for the first time- here the cliff face shadows either are taken to overwhelm and smother identity’s pulse -

Else to provoke a wholly other turn -

The turn towards the cleft in the mountain pass, the subtle slit in the shadow high skies, where new lights and purposes radiate toward the self as if penetrating stars.
