The ‘base organicity’ of who I have traveled far ‘to be’ is composed of all places I ‘have been’ -

the vast corn rows, boundary waters, thousand inland lakes, blinding snow blizzards, multitudinous highways, ocean promontories, lighthouse headlands, firefly summer nights, high desert humming winds, the rockies, the white-tipped Cascades, the Atlantic water deep blues- its chainlink keys, the calm brooding Smokies, Chicago’s brunt and grit, Indiana dunes, the Natchez Trace, Ventura highway, and far northern Mississippi River skies :: my country is a vast, improbable realm- but where is its deep interior? : sit close to me- you can see it unfurling as if circling eagles in my eyes.
