To withdraw ourselves from the unnatural miracles humanity has created . . .
To withdraw ourselves from the unnatural miracles humanity has created until we ourselves are healed and made whole : and then to share the power of accessible miracles, such as they are, with everyone, and not keep them for ourselves in base addiction : lastly, after having been made whole by bodily austerity and focused spirit, to approach and engage our own miracles, our own technologies, rarely and only to the point where the tools delight and nurture us, no longer in the grip of manifestly exploitive artificial ‘utility’-
If we did so, the human world might have hope-
If we did so, the earth might will itself to again be made whole and new- our humanized eyes radiant as its witness.
